Enhance.MD Review: Questions to Settle Before Paying for a GLP-1 Plan

Enhance.MD documents compounded GLP-1 programs, bundled services and several billing schedules. The practical question is which terms, clinical team and pharmacy will apply to your enrollment.

Before paying Enhance.MD, ask for two things together: the exact medication being considered and the complete billing terms for that selection. Its homepage highlights low introductory figures, while product pages connect the lowest ongoing monthly figures to plans billed every 48 weeks. Meanwhile, its FAQ describes renewal every 28 days. Those statements are not interchangeable. Understanding which controls your purchase matters more than comparing the largest price printed on one page with the smallest price printed on another.

Enhance.MD markets telehealth programs involving compounded semaglutide, tirzepatide and a combination of both, alongside tirzepatide microdosing and separate NAD+ offerings. This review examines public documentation consulted October 19, 2026, rather than treatment outcomes or firsthand service. The most useful preparation is a written list of questions about payment, onboarding, the responsible medical practice and prescription fulfillment. Our starting questions for a GLP-1 program provide a broader framework; the questions below address the particulars Enhance.MD actually publishes.

Which medication are you actually discussing?

Start with the product name, not the tier name. Core is marketed as injectable semaglutide; Advanced uses compounded tirzepatide; Elite is marketed as an injectable formulation combining semaglutide and tirzepatide. The pages describe GLP-1 administration as subcutaneous injection. Enhance.MD positions these tiers around different goals and prior treatment experiences, but that positioning is advertising, not an independent finding that one tier will work better for a particular patient.

The Core page explicitly says its compounded formulation is not FDA approved, requires a prescription and demonstrated clinical need, and is intended for patients under active prescriber care. It also claims compounding under federal Section 503A guidelines. FDA explains that compounded preparations do not undergo its premarket review for safety, effectiveness and quality. FDA recommends them when an individual's medical needs cannot be met by an approved drug; nonapproval alone does not establish clinical inequivalence.

Ask the prescriber why the exact proposed preparation fits your medical needs and what product-specific evidence supports that decision. Do not assume evidence for an approved medicine establishes outcomes for Enhance.MD's combination or microdosing offerings. Our questions about identifying the medicine can help keep that conversation specific. Also distinguish NAD+ injections and sublingual wafers from the GLP-1 product: their appearance in interleaved page blocks does not establish that they are included in every subscription.

What will be charged now, and when does it renew?

Enhance.MD's homepage advertises Core starting at $112 for the first month, then $212/month; Advanced starts at $180, then $280/month; Elite starts at $222, then $322/month. The product pages tie those ongoing figures to the longest advertised plans. The table preserves the displayed monthly amounts and actual billing intervals. A plan called 12-month is billed every 48 weeks, not every 12 calendar months; a four-week cycle is not a calendar month either.

Across Core, Advanced and Elite, the plans labeled 12-month, 6-month and 3-month advertise discounts of 15%, 10% and 5%, respectively, plus $100 off the first order; the one-month option advertises $50 off the first order. These are provider promotions, not independently calculated savings. The documentation does not clearly establish the full amount collected at checkout for each longer plan. Ask for that amount, the first renewal date and the subsequent charge in writing rather than multiplying a headline figure yourself.

The FAQ's general 28-day automatic-renewal statement is not reconciled with the 12-, 24- and 48-week product schedules. Enhance.MD also promises the same price as doses increase, but that does not erase differences between plan lengths. Use our price questions beyond the monthly figure to separate medication pricing from payment timing. A longer plan label alone does not establish medication quantity, an irrevocable minimum commitment or a right to a prorated refund.

Whose patient will you become?

Enhance.MD LLC says it provides administrative and operational support rather than medical or pharmacy services. Its footer identifies clinicians employed by Enhance Wellness PC and iThriveMD PC; its terms additionally identify EnhanceMD CA, PC. The platform says it neither employs healthcare providers nor influences clinical decisions. Ask which medical practice will hold responsibility for your care, which clinician will assess you and where clinical questions should go after the administrative enrollment is complete.

The FAQ describes the clinical team as U.S.-licensed physicians and nurse practitioners. That is the provider's statement, not independent licensing verification, and it does not mean every consultation is with a physician. Terms limit access to adults 18 or older located where services are offered. Although the FAQ makes an all-50-states licensing claim, its availability list is narrower and includes Washington, DC, with access dependent on product availability. Confirm your location and product together before paying.

The FAQ publishes minimum BMI figures of 25 for new patients and 20 for maintenance patients currently or recently using GLP-1 treatment, while leaving the final decision to the clinician's review of medical history. Those are Enhance.MD's advertised criteria, not general clinical recommendations or a promise of acceptance. NIDDK describes different general adult thresholds for weight-management pharmacotherapy and emphasizes broader clinical assessment. Ask how the proposed product's criteria apply without treating an online screening result as a prescription.

What happens between the intake form and a prescription?

The how-it-works page describes a free medical intake covering lifestyle and medical history. The FAQ then places payment before the virtual meeting and says medication is delivered only if the patient is eligible. Account creation is not enough to receive care: identity verification is required, including a full-face photograph and a photograph of government-issued identification. Before entering payment details, ask which onboarding steps must be completed and when the clinical eligibility decision will occur.

The laboratory pathway is more detailed than a simple intake-to-prescription sequence. The how-it-works page says Enhance.MD arranges testing at a nearby Quest Diagnostics location, naming a comprehensive metabolic panel, thyroid-stimulating hormone, lipids and hemoglobin A1c. The FAQ estimates receipt of results approximately one to two business days after the laboratory visit, with results appearing in the account dashboard. It says an email then directs the patient to schedule a video consultation.

That laboratory estimate is not a promise about consultation availability, prescription approval or medication arrival. Some shorter process descriptions omit testing, while the fuller pages place it before consultation. Ask which sequence applies to your chosen program, whether an accessible Quest location is available and what happens if testing or scheduling delays the decision. The platform explicitly states that payment does not guarantee either prescribing or dispensing, so enrollment should not be understood as approval.

What does the bundle cover after enrollment?

The main product pages describe a substantial bundle rather than medication alone. Core includes four weeks of semaglutide, ongoing provider care and support, metabolic laboratory testing every six months, essential supplies, wellness coaching and educational platform access. Advanced describes the same categories for four weeks of compounded tirzepatide and specifically names syringes and alcohol pads. Elite describes four weeks of its semaglutide-and-tirzepatide formulation with the same broad service categories. These are documented inclusions, not independently observed service quality.

The practical follow-up question is how those categories operate. The FAQ describes a private portal for reviewing laboratory results and treatment and communicating with the care team. However, the consulted documentation does not establish the exact frequency or format of follow-up consultations, the response time for a clinical message or how quickly a clinician becomes available when problems arise. Ask what is scheduled automatically, what requires a request and whether any additional visit can carry a separate charge.

Enhance.MD publishes support at 1-888-299-5088 and support@enhance.md, with hours listed as Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. EDT, and weekends, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. EDT. Those are contact hours, not a documented guarantee of immediate clinician access. Ask which route handles billing, prescription questions and delivery problems. NIDDK emphasizes that follow-up involves tolerability and response, not merely continued payments; a portal and recurring shipments should not be mistaken for a defined clinical follow-up schedule.

Which pharmacy fills it, and what if delivery goes wrong?

The FAQ names Tru Meds Rx, Strive Pharmacy and Pharmacy Hub as partners. The terms instead name Rite-Away Pharmacy, Vios Compounding Pharmacy and TruMedsRx, along with other licensed pharmacies. The lists overlap but do not match, and neither establishes which pharmacy prepares or ships a particular patient's product. Ask for the dispensing pharmacy's identity and contact details before fulfillment, and clarify separately who compounds the preparation rather than assuming dispensing and compounding are the same activity.

A physical delivery address is required. The FAQ also allows prescriptions to be sent to a pharmacy of the patient's choice, but explicitly says medication costs are then billed directly to the patient. Do not assume the bundled medication price follows a prescription outside the partner channel. Core advertises free shipping and medication delivery every four weeks, but the documentation does not give a firm approval-to-dispatch interval or dispatch-to-arrival interval. Free shipping is not free treatment or a delivery deadline.

Before shipment, ask how temperature-sensitive deliveries are packaged and who resolves a damaged, delayed or inadequately refrigerated parcel. The site's general stability statements do not supply formulation-specific temperature limits in the consulted documentation. FDA explicitly advises not using an injectable GLP-1 drug that arrives warm or with insufficient refrigeration and contacting the provider or dispensing pharmacy. Our delivery questions can help organize that conversation without treating a generic shipping assurance as an assessment of an individual package.

What changes if you choose microdosing or NAD+?

Tirzepatide microdosing has its own commercial structure. Its page lists $169/month for a plan called 12-month, billed every 48 weeks; $179/month for six months, billed every 24 weeks; and $189/month for three months, billed every 12 weeks. A one-month block states billing every four weeks without an unambiguous price in that block. Medication delivery is described as every 12 weeks with ongoing oversight, unlike the four-week delivery cadence advertised for the main programs.

That distinction calls for a separate explanation of payment, shipment contents and follow-up rather than borrowing answers from Advanced. The microdosing FAQ itself acknowledges that reduced side effects are not guaranteed and individual responses vary. The clinical trials reviewed here do not establish results for Enhance.MD's microdosing program. Ask what evidence supports the proposed preparation and approach, how response will be assessed and which instructions the prescriber or pharmacist will provide; this review is not a source of dosing calculations.

NAD+ is another distinct offering. The homepage advertises subcutaneous NAD+ injections starting at $169/month, while product-page blocks also describe quick-dissolving sublingual wafers. Enhance.MD markets energy and related benefits, but those commercial descriptions should not be treated as independently established outcomes here. Because NAD+ material is interleaved with GLP-1 selections, ask for a written order summary identifying the product, route, recurring charge and whether it is optional rather than assuming every displayed price belongs to the selected GLP-1 plan.

What can you stop, recover or pay another way?

Enhance.MD's terms describe cash-pay services and exclude billing federal or state healthcare programs such as Medicare and Medicaid. The patient accepts responsibility for costs. The FAQ accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express but rejects gift cards, preloaded cards and FSA/HSA cards. The documentation does not settle private-insurance reimbursement or what paperwork might be available. Ask the program and your insurer separately; accepting a payment card is not the same thing as insurance coverage or a tax determination.

The terms say subscriptions renew unless canceled before the next billing cycle and defer full payment terms to checkout. The FAQ warns that pausing or canceling affects prescription refills. Neither statement resolves how cancellation works within longer billing periods. Before enrolling, request the cancellation method, applicable deadline, effective date and any remaining obligation. The consulted material does not establish prorated refunds, cancellation penalties or the complete linked shipping-and-returns policy. Canceling future renewal should not be assumed to refund a payment already made.

There is a narrower documented refund promise: the Core product page says Enhance.MD will refund 100% of the initial payment if onboarding finds the patient ineligible for its formulation. The FAQ says refund processing usually takes five to ten business days, which is not a guarantee of bank receipt within that period. Ask how that guarantee applies to your selected product and payment. Save the checkout terms and order summary, especially where they clarify the public pages' conflicting billing descriptions.

Questions & answers

Can I get Core for $212 on a four-week billing option?

Not according to the product-page pricing. The $212/month figure belongs to the plan labeled 12-month and billed every 48 weeks. The one-month option lists $249/month, billed every four weeks, with $50 off the first order. Confirm the actual checkout charge rather than treating the homepage's starting price as a freely interchangeable monthly option.

Does paying mean Enhance.MD will prescribe medication?

No. The platform explicitly says payment does not guarantee prescribing or dispensing. The FAQ places payment before the virtual consultation and makes delivery conditional on eligibility. The documented initial-payment refund guarantee concerns ineligibility found during onboarding; confirm its application to your chosen formulation before paying.

Sources: [7] [8] [6]
Can Enhance.MD send a prescription to my own pharmacy?

The FAQ says yes, but with an important payment distinction: your chosen pharmacy bills you directly for medication. It does not establish that the bundled medication charge transfers to that pharmacy or explain any subscription adjustment. Ask both parties about fulfillment availability and ask Enhance.MD what charges remain before choosing this route.

Sources: [8]
Are laboratory results available within two days of signing up?

That is not the published estimate. The FAQ estimates approximately one to two business days after the laboratory appointment for Enhance.MD to receive results. It then describes an email prompting video-consultation scheduling. Appointment availability, consultation timing, prescribing and shipping are separate steps without a documented combined completion deadline.

Sources: [8] [5]
Does Enhance.MD serve every state?

Its FAQ claims licensing in all 50 states but publishes a narrower availability list, including Washington, DC, subject to product availability. The terms also restrict access to locations where services are offered. Confirm availability for your current location and selected product; the broad licensing statement alone is not a promise of service.

Sources: [8] [10]
Will cancellation automatically return my unused payment?

The public documentation does not establish that right. Terms require cancellation before the next billing cycle to avoid renewal, while the specific refund promise covers onboarding ineligibility. Ask for the longer-plan refund and cancellation rules at checkout. The stated five-to-ten-business-day refund processing estimate also does not guarantee when funds reach your bank.

Our assessment

Enhance.MD documents a broad bundled offering: named compounded GLP-1 products, laboratory testing, supplies, ongoing support and shipping, with public prices for several billing intervals. Those details make meaningful preparation possible. The unresolved issues are consequential, however: the amount collected for longer plans, the relationship between 28-day renewal language and longer billing schedules, the pharmacy assigned to a prescription and the boundaries of cancellation refunds. A useful next step is to request one written summary covering the exact formulation, responsible medical practice, dispensing pharmacy, initial charge, renewal schedule and exit terms. That would turn scattered public descriptions into a specific offer you can evaluate. The documentation supports considering Enhance.MD as a telehealth option to investigate, not assuming its marketing tiers establish superior outcomes or that its lowest advertised monthly figure describes a short-term purchase.
