Trimi Health Review: Questions to Settle Before Paying for a Compounded GLP-1 Plan

Trimi documents prepaid and monthly weight-management plans, care through Arora Health and prescriptions filled by BelieveRx. The practical questions concern what you are buying, when payment becomes nonrefundable and who handles ongoing care.

Before choosing a Trimi plan, ask two questions together: “What would I owe today?” and “What happens if my circumstances change after the prescription is written?” The answers matter because Trimi collects payment before clinical review, and its lowest advertised monthly equivalents require a full year’s payment upfront. A lower monthly equivalent is therefore not simply a cheaper version of a month-to-month arrangement. It purchases a different financial commitment, with different renewal rules and limited opportunities to recover money after prescribing.

Trimi Health presents an online U.S. weight-management service offering compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, subject to individual evaluation and prescription. This documentary review examines its public documentation consulted October 19, 2026, rather than firsthand treatment or independently verified credentials. The useful way to read the offer is as a sequence of decisions: identify the medicine, understand the clinical and pharmacy responsibilities, choose a billing term, and establish what happens after delivery. Trimi provides substantial detail on those points, but some inconsistencies and unanswered questions deserve clarification before checkout.

At a glance

Treatment offered
Patients select compounded semaglutide or compounded tirzepatide at signup; a licensed provider decides whether the selected treatment is appropriate. A prescription is not guaranteed.
Sources: [4]
Lowest advertised equivalents
Semaglutide is $99 per month equivalent with $1,188 paid upfront for a 12-month commitment; tirzepatide is $125 per month equivalent with $1,500 paid upfront for a 12-month commitment.

Clinical and pharmacy roles
Trimi attributes clinical evaluations and prescribing decisions to Arora Health’s network and identifies BelieveRx, formerly VialsRx, as the pharmacy filling prescriptions.
Sources: [8] [5]
Payment and cancellation
Payment precedes provider review. The policy permits a full refund before a prescription is written but generally makes the order nonrefundable afterward, subject to published exceptions.

Renewal structure
Monthly and quarterly plans renew automatically unless renewal is turned off. Six-month and annual plans do not automatically renew; continuation requires a provider check-in and confirmation of a new plan.

What medicine would you actually receive?

Start with the product, not the headline price. Trimi lets applicants choose compounded semaglutide or compounded tirzepatide, then has a licensed provider review whether that choice is appropriate. It describes an injectable offering and includes syringes and alcohol swabs. The reviewed excerpts do not establish the full composition, concentrations or anatomical injection route of every preparation. Ask for the exact prescribed formulation, presentation and written administration instructions rather than assuming that a drug name answers all those questions. Trimi explicitly says it does not offer retatrutide.

Trimi states that its compounded medications are not FDA approved and that FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing. FDA recommends compounded drugs for patients whose medical needs cannot be met by an FDA-approved drug, with a prescription and a state-licensed pharmacy. Nonapproval alone does not prove clinical inequivalence, but it also does not justify treating a compounded preparation as an approved product. Ask the prescriber to explain the medical reason for the proposed compounded treatment in your situation.

Trimi’s treatment pages appropriately acknowledge that cited trials did not test its compounded preparation or establish that preparation’s safety or effectiveness. That distinction is more useful than importing a trial’s weight-loss percentage into expectations for this service. Our guide to questions about the medicine itself provides a framework for discussing formulation and labeling. A practical request is for the clinician or pharmacist to explain the actual prescription and measurement instructions; FDA has received reports of measurement and administration errors involving compounded medications.

Who evaluates you, and what happens before approval?

Trimi says it was founded in May 2024 and is headquartered in New York City. It describes its role as connecting patients with licensed providers through Arora Health, which it calls a management services organization operating a nationwide clinician network. The documentation describes both asynchronous and synchronous consultations. Those descriptions do not mean every applicant gets a live visit, or that every clinician is a physician. Ask who will evaluate you, what their professional credential is and whether a live discussion is available when needed.

The standard process starts with an online questionnaire covering health history, current medications and treatment goals, advertised as taking about five to ten minutes. Trimi says provider review typically follows within 12–24 hours after completion, although the provider may request additional information or evaluation. Payment for the selected billing period occurs before that review. If treatment is judged inappropriate, Trimi says the order is refunded in full. A quick questionnaire and a typical review window are process descriptions, not promises of approval or a fixed decision deadline.

U.S. residents age 18 or older can complete the assessment. Treatment pages advertise Arora Health care in all 50 states, excluding Puerto Rico, while some editorial footers say “most” states and state that availability is checked before payment. Resolve that discrepancy for your residence and pharmacy service before paying. These public claims were not independently checked against licensing records. Prepare to discuss medicines, supplements, allergies and pregnancy plans with the clinician; general eligibility descriptions cannot substitute for an individual assessment.

Which price is a monthly charge, and which is a calculation?

Trimi publishes four billing terms for each compounded injectable medication. The table separates the amount collected from the monthly equivalent, which is only the full plan charge divided by its term. Prices are in U.S. dollars before discounts. Multi-month plans are paid upfront rather than through monthly charges. The annual prices are not introductory monthly subscriptions: the stated $99 semaglutide and $125 tirzepatide equivalents require $1,188 and $1,500 upfront, respectively, for 12-month commitments. Monthly billing remains a separate choice.

Trimi says its prices stay the same across prescribed doses. Plans include prescribed medication, injection supplies, provider care, ongoing support and free overnight shipping once the medication is compounded, with no separate enrollment, consultation, membership or shipping fees. That is a meaningful inclusion list, but it does not answer every possible expense question. The reviewed documentation does not establish mandatory laboratory requirements, associated costs or whether a sharps container is included. Ask about these items rather than assuming “included care” covers every outside service.

A new-patient promotion advertises $50 off the first month using code 50OFF. How that offer applies to each prepaid term, whether it combines with other offers and when it expires remain unclear. Existing patients are also offered $50 per qualifying referral after a friend signs up through their link and places a first order, with no stated referral cap. Neither promotion changes the underlying need to compare the full commitment. Use these price questions beyond the monthly figure when reviewing checkout.

What would insurance, financing or renewal actually change?

Trimi is a self-pay service and says it does not bill insurance. It accepts HSA and FSA payments, but tells patients to confirm purchase eligibility with their plan administrator. It can also provide a letter of medical necessity for an insurance reimbursement request; coverage and reimbursement are not guaranteed. These are different payment paths, not interchangeable assurances. Before using an account or expecting reimbursement, ask the relevant administrator what documentation is needed and what costs, if any, qualify.

Monthly and quarterly plans renew automatically unless renewal is turned off. Six-month and annual plans are billed upfront and do not automatically renew; continuing requires a provider check-in and confirmation of a new plan. Some promotional labels use “yearly” or “every 6 mo,” which can sound recurring, so obtain the checkout terms that apply to your selection. The reviewed material does not establish a specific renewal-change notice deadline. Ask how to disable renewal, when the change takes effect and how confirmation will be delivered.

If a payment provider offers installments, Trimi says financing does not shorten the treatment-plan commitment. Likewise, turning off renewal does not refund or prorate a period already purchased: its example leaves a prepaid three-month term intact when renewal is stopped during month two. A later lower price does not, by itself, create a refund, credit or right to end a commitment early. These questions to settle before the next charge are worth answering while the purchase is still optional.

Who prepares the prescription, and when does shipping begin?

Trimi identifies BelieveRx, formerly VialsRx, as the pharmacy filling prescriptions and publishes Texas State Board of Pharmacy license number 35264. It describes preparation per individual prescription by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy. These are provider-published identifiers, not an independent verification of current licensure, dispensing permissions or certifications. Ask which pharmacy will actually fulfill your prescription and how to contact it. Also request the labeling, storage instructions and presentation details for your particular order rather than extrapolating from a general marketing page.

Free overnight shipping begins once medication has been compounded; it does not mean delivery the day after enrollment. Trimi describes temperature-controlled packaging. Its homepage estimates one to three days from signup to delivery, whereas a shipping guide estimates two to four days, including clinical review and pharmacy preparation. Both describe typical timing, not a promised arrival date. Neither billing duration nor those shipping estimates establishes how much medication arrives in one package. Confirm the dispensing quantity, shipment frequency and arrangements for subsequent deliveries before selecting a long prepaid term.

Delivery problems require prompt attention. Trimi asks patients to photograph damage before opening further and email within 24 hours of the delivery scan; after verification, it offers a free replacement or refund. Refrigeration-related replacements are reviewed with the dispensing pharmacy based on confirmed stability concerns rather than cosmetic packaging issues alone. Separately, FDA advises not using an injectable GLP-1 drug that arrives warm or insufficiently refrigerated and contacting the provider or pharmacy. Our delivery-problem questions can help organize that conversation without attempting to judge stability yourself.

What does ongoing support mean in practice?

Trimi includes provider messaging, care-team support and dose reviews when clinically appropriate. It says the provider decides which treatment changes fit the patient’s history and response. That documents more than medication shipment alone, but does not establish a uniform visit schedule, required laboratory monitoring or a guaranteed live appointment frequency. Ask how check-ins are initiated, who reviews reported problems and what circumstances require a synchronous consultation. Clinical follow-up should be understood separately from the billing calendar; another payment is not itself evidence of a clinical review.

The homepage advertises a care team available 24/7 with a response within one hour. Its contact area separately lists Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. EST, alongside care@trytrimi.com and (855) 200-2563. Those statements may refer to different channels or teams, but the reviewed documentation does not fully explain the division. Ask which channel operates overnight, whether the response is administrative or clinical, and how to reach the prescriber or pharmacy when the question concerns the medicine rather than the order.

The most useful support question is specific: “If I report a problem after hours, who receives it, and who can make a clinical decision?” NIDDK describes medication choice and follow-up as involving benefits, side effects, health conditions, other medicines and cost. Trimi’s messaging promise does not establish how every such concern is escalated. Availability of Spanish-language consultations, support or documents was also not established in the reviewed material. Anyone needing that service should confirm it directly rather than inferring language access from an online enrollment process.

When does cancellation stop being a full-refund option?

The key boundary is prescription issuance, not shipment. Trimi’s policy permits cancellation for a full refund, without fees, if a clinician has not yet written the prescription. Once it is signed, the policy generally calls the order final and nonrefundable, whether the medication is awaiting preparation, already compounded or shipped. Because review may occur within the advertised 12–24-hour window, someone reconsidering the purchase should contact the company promptly. Do not assume an unshipped package means the order remains freely cancellable.

That boundary is not the whole refund policy. Trimi also publishes exceptions involving clinical ineligibility, qualifying delivery damage or integrity issues, billing errors and an eligible six-month no-results claim. Ask how a medical problem arising after prescribing would be handled, particularly on a prepaid plan; a general exception label does not establish every outcome. Turning off future renewal remains a separate action from obtaining a refund. The full terms of service and individual checkout contract were not reviewed, so those documents remain important before payment.

Trimi advertises refund-request decisions within two to four business days, with potentially faster handling for a straightforward case such as medical ineligibility. Approved refunds return to the original payment method, and banks typically post the credit in five to ten business days. Those are separate stages, not a guarantee that money will be available within the initial review period. Keep the cancellation request, acknowledgment and final decision so that any disagreement can be discussed against the actual order status and published policy.

What does the six-month refund promise require?

Trimi’s no-results provision is a conditional commercial policy, not a promise of clinical success. It requires six continuous months on the prescribed plan, taking medication as directed and logging weight in the patient portal. Its documented requirements include following the treatment and provider check-ins. If there is no net weight loss between the logged starting weight and the six-month weight, the company says it will refund plan fees paid over those six months. A smaller-than-hoped-for loss is not the same as the policy’s stated no-loss threshold.

Both the starting and six-month weights must be recorded; without them, Trimi says it cannot approve a no-results claim. Logging along the way is encouraged. Requests must be made within 30 days after the six-month mark through the contact page, and the policy allows one claim per patient. It does not stack on refunds already issued, including those for medical ineligibility, billing errors or damaged shipments. Before relying on this provision, ask how the six-month amount is determined for an annual prepaid purchase.

A final question is what happens if treatment needs to change before six months. The existence of a refund condition should not be interpreted as an instruction to continue regardless of tolerability or response. NIDDK notes that treatment duration depends on response and side effects and that obesity may require long-term care. Ask the treating clinician how follow-up decisions are made, and ask customer support separately how those decisions affect the commercial policy. Keeping clinical judgment and refund eligibility distinct is essential to understanding this offer.

Questions & answers

Can I pay $99 each month for Trimi semaglutide?

Not under the published $99 offer. That figure is the monthly equivalent of $1,188 paid upfront for a 12-month commitment. The separately published month-to-month semaglutide plan is $175 billed monthly, before discounts. Ask checkout to identify the full amount due and selected term before authorizing payment.

Sources: [3] [11]
Does choosing tirzepatide mean I will receive it?

No. Trimi lets applicants select compounded tirzepatide or compounded semaglutide, but a licensed provider reviews health history and decides whether the chosen treatment is appropriate. Additional information or evaluation may be requested. Payment comes before review, and Trimi says it refunds the order in full if treatment is inappropriate.

Sources: [4] [11]
Will an annual plan renew without my approval?

The treatment documentation and renewal guide say annual and six-month plans do not automatically renew. Continuing requires a provider check-in and confirmation of a new plan. Monthly and quarterly plans do renew automatically unless renewal is turned off. Confirm the specific checkout terms, especially if promotional billing labels appear to suggest something different.

Sources: [6]
Can I cancel if the prescription has been written but nothing has shipped?

Generally, the published policy says no: prescription issuance makes the order noncancellable and nonrefundable even before shipment. Published exceptions still matter, including qualifying integrity problems and other refund provisions. Before the prescription is written, the policy allows cancellation for a full refund. Ask support to confirm the order’s status rather than relying on shipping status.

Who should I contact about a warm or damaged delivery?

Contact Trimi and the dispensing pharmacy. Trimi lists care@trytrimi.com and (855) 200-2563, and asks for damage photos and email notification within 24 hours of the delivery scan. FDA advises not using injectable GLP-1 medication that arrives warm or inadequately refrigerated. Trimi reviews refrigeration-related replacement concerns with the pharmacy; do not assume packaging appearance alone settles usability.

Sources: [4] [9] [1]
Does Trimi accept insurance or provide reimbursement paperwork?

Trimi says it is self-pay and does not bill insurance. It accepts HSA/FSA payments subject to administrator-confirmed eligibility and can provide a letter of medical necessity for a reimbursement request. Neither acceptance of those payment accounts nor provision of a letter guarantees insurance coverage, reimbursement or qualification under your account’s rules.

Our assessment

Trimi’s documentation gives prospective patients useful specifics: named clinical and pharmacy organizations, four clearly priced terms, substantial included services and an unusually detailed refund policy. Its lowest monthly equivalents, however, require annual prepayment, and the prescription—not shipment—is the main cancellation boundary. The strongest preparation is to obtain written answers about the exact formulation, current state availability, shipment quantities, follow-up arrangements and checkout obligations. Conflicting delivery estimates and support hours also warrant clarification. These documents support an assessment of how Trimi describes its service, not verification of credentials or proof of outcomes for its compounded preparations. A patient who values monthly flexibility should compare that option with the prepaid terms on their actual obligations, rather than treating the advertised monthly equivalent as the whole offer.
